My story
Design has always been part of my life!
I’ve been designing for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I would redesign game covers and LP artwork simply because I thought they could be better. That curiosity eventually took me to the Grafisch Lyceum and later to the Willem de Kooning Academy, where design became more than an interest, it became my profession.
I started my career in branding, creating visual identities and shaping how brands express themselves. Over time, my curiosity shifted from how things look to how they work, how people behave and why they make certain choices.
That led me into digital product design, where I could bring business, human behaviour and design together to create meaningful value.
Today, my work can range from the smallest visual detail to untangling complex end-to-end journeys and turning them into simple, intuitive digital experiences. Different challenges, but still driven by the same curiosity I had when redesigning those covers: how can this be better, for the people using it and the purpose it needs to serve?

Good design starts with understanding what we’re trying to achieve, for the people using the product and for the organisation behind it. I don’t believe in following a design process just for the sake of it. Every challenge is different. What matters is asking the right questions, making ideas tangible and learning as quickly as possible.
Start with why
Before jumping into solutions, I want to understand the problem, context and what success looks like. A clear purpose creates better decisions later on.
Understand behaviour
What people say and what they do aren’t always the same. I use research, data and observation to understand behaviour, uncover friction and identify opportunities.
Make it tangible
Ideas become more valuable when people can see, experience and challenge them. I prototype early to create conversations, align teams and turn assumptions into something we can test.
Don’t assume
Design is full of assumptions. I turn them into hypotheses and use feedback, testing and data to learn what works, and what doesn’t.
Design together
The best solutions rarely come from one person. I like bringing design, product, technology and business together, using different perspectives to create stronger outcomes.
Can this be better?
Better doesn’t simply mean prettier or easier to use. It means creating the right experience for the people using it while helping the product achieve its purpose.
“I believe the best solutions emerge when different perspectives come together.”
Better together
What I bring
Finding direction in complexity
I help teams understand complex challenges and turn them into clear opportunities. By combining user needs, business goals, data and stakeholder perspectives, I create focus on what we’re solving and why.
Customer journeys · Product thinking · Data & insights · Hypotheses · Stakeholder alignment
Creating impact beyond design
I bring people together around design. By managing stakeholders, creating visibility and connecting user needs with business goals, I help teams align, make better decisions and move forward together.
Stakeholder management · Facilitation · Presenting · Alignment · Design advocacy
Crafting experiences that scale
I care about the details that make an experience feel right. With a background in branding and visual design, I create interfaces that are intuitive, consistent and recognisable, and build systems that help teams maintain that quality at scale.

Explore what AI makes possible
I use AI as both a design tool and a new design space. It helps me explore ideas, prototype and learn faster, while also challenging me to rethink how people interact with digital products. I’m interested in finding where AI creates genuine value, not simply adding it because we can.

Beyond the pixels
When I’m not designing, I like to switch things up.
You’ll often find me wandering through a museum, painting, working out, camping somewhere away from the noise, or doing something with a little more speed riding my motorcycle or taking it to the track.
I like the contrast: finding inspiration in art and culture, creating something with my hands, being outdoors, and occasionally chasing the perfect line through a corner.
Different worlds, but they all give me new energy, inspiration and perspective to bring back into my work.
